Xarmant Txakoli 2018
Txakolina, Basque Country (Spain)
Txakoli is a slightly sparkling, very dry white wine with high acidity and low alcohol content produced in the Spanish provinces of the Basque Country. Xarmant -which means "charming" in French is lovely, light. and delicious. Fermented in stainless steel and bottled with residual carbon to give it its signature natural spritz.
Planet Oregon Pinot Noir 2017
Willamette Valley, Oregon
90 Points Vinous
Brilliant red. Spice-laced aromas of raspberry, cherry and pungent flowers, along with a smoky nuance and a hint of musky earth. Offers sappy red berry flavors that display very good clarity and tangy lift thanks to a spine of juicy acidity. Finishes silky, gently sweet and quite long, with supple tannins framing the wine's lingering red fruit.
Wagner Stempel Rose 2018
One of our perennial favorite roses is back! The 2018 Wagner-Stempel Rose is a blend of Pinot Noir and St. Laurent. It's bright and racy on the palate, with lovely strawberry fruit flavors and crisp, lemony acidity.
BV Rutherford Cabernet 2015
Napa Valley, California
90 Points Vinous
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford is plush, sensual and inviting, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Hints of cedar, tobacco, menthol, chocolate and licorice add aromatic nuance to a core of fleshy dark fruit. Drink it over the next decade or so.
Pfeffingen Blanc de Noir 2018
For this white wine made from red grapes only the best, fully-ripe Pinot Noir grapes were picked by hand. The wine is aged sur lie for four months giving it a rich, viscous texture. This wine shows notes of strawberries and raspberries, yet is dry, with crisp acidity and great depth.
Bodega Norton Privada 2015
91+ Points Vinous
Bright full ruby. Very dark, primary, slightly reduced aromas of blackberry, cassis, licorice and herbs. Concentrated, dense and ripe but not heavy, with brooding flavors of blackberry and dark chocolate dominating. Finishes adamantly dry, with serious chocolatey tannins, sound acidity and very good length.
Schafer-Frohlich Pinot Noir Rose 2018
One of the great Pinot Noir Roses is back, but it is very limited. Tim Frohlich produces some of the greatest wines in the Nahe, if not all of Germany. Sublime and refined, this Blanc de Noir offers aromatics of white roses and strawberries. The palate shows refreshing acidity and juicy cherry and strawberry fruit.
Borne of Fire Cabernet 2016
Columbia Valley, Washington
96 Points James Suckling
This is the first year made of this wine with wonderful blackberries, rose leaves and blueberries. Wildly floral. Stems. Full body and round and fine tannins. Juicy and intense. Shows an eccentric style. A new nature and personality.
Hartford Russian River Chardonnay 2017
Sonoma County, California
94 Points Jed Dunnuck
This Chardonnay's medium gold color is followed by a rounded, supple, textured Chardonnay that has classic notes of pineapple, white flowers, honeysuckle, and toasted spice. Rounded, fleshy, and textured on the palate, with plenty of oomph, it shows the quality of this estate beautifully.
Il Poggione Brancato Rosato 2018
Salmon with amber highlights. Floral nose with notes of raspberry, strawberry and spices. Fresh on the palate, but with a pleasant roundness, this rosé flows onto the palate with an expressive core of perfumed cherries, spices and flowers.
Taken from Granite Soliel Cabernet Sauvignon 1995
Sierra Foothills, California
A hand-picked treasure from the Golden Age of the Renaissance Vineyard. (Originally Renaissance Vineyard & Winery "Premier Cuvee" Cabernet Sauvignon, now Taken From Granite Soleil) -- North Yuba, Sierra Foothills, 12.5% alcohol -- Medium to dark ruby in the glass, this wine smells of crushed herbs, bacon fat, and red berries. In the mouth the sour brightness of raspberry and red cherries mix with crushed herbs and hints of leather and cedar. Faint powdery tannins linger at the back of the mouth. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Delicious.
Hyde de Villaine Chardonnay 2016
Napa Valley, California
92 Points Vinous
The 2016 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard is a very pretty wine. Gentle apricot, tangerine, spice, dried flowers and mint are all woven together. Although quite subtle, the 2016 has plenty of structure, it is just expressed in an understated manner. There is so much to admire in this pristine Chardonnay from Hyde De Villaine. Silky and polished, the 2016 will drink well upon release.

Domaine Auguste Clape Cote du Rhone 2016
91 Points Vinous
Opaque ruby. Spice-accented aromas of black raspberry, violet and smoky minerals, plus a hint of allspice in the background. Concentrated yet lithe and precise, offering spice-tinged dark berry flavors and a bracing jolt of acidity that adds focus and back-end cut. Fleshes out slowly with air and shows very good clarity and appealing sweetness on a long, gently tannic finish.
$52.99/bottle (3 bottles)
Domaine Auguste Clape Cornas 2016
97 Points Wine Advocate
For the 2016 Cornas, a couple of the foudres I tasted from were truly amazing, like the Sabarotte, which is imbued with the bloody-meaty essence of Cornas, velvety tannins and the Reynards Vieilles Vignes, replanted after phylloxera, which showed incredible perfumes and complexity.
